8th Habanos Day Mexico 2022
I.E.P.T (Importadora y Exportadora de Puros y Tabacos), exclusive distributor of Habanos for Mexico, bring for all Habanos enthusiasts the eighth edition of Habanos Day, the most anticipated event for all Premium tobacco fans in Mexico. This edition was held on October 27th taking place in the emblematic venue in Mexico City “Hacienda de los Morales”, under its mystical garden more than 800 fans celebrated in style The Culture of the Habano.
The inauguration of this great party was brightened by the honorable Mr. Marcos Rodríguez – Ambassador of Cuba in Mexico and Pablo Velasco – General Director of I.E.P.T, who expressed their enthusiasm to the attendees to celebrate one of the greatest exponents of Cuban culture: The Habano.
In the words of Pablo Velasco; “The Habano, considered the best tobacco in the world, is a product that generates closeness and companionship, on many occasions, when we enjoy it we share experiences that generate new experiences. It’s a pleasure to resume Habanos Day in a face-to-face format with the company of all of you, although during the pandemic we found formulas to remain close, nothing compares to being able to enjoy together as we do now”.
The program of this eighth edition included tastings and pairings, composed of an exquisite selection of Habanos such as Juan López Selección Especial Edition La Casa del Habano, Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme, H. Upmann Noellas Edition La Casa del Habano, St Luis Rey Regios among others, these selections were accompanied with a Premium variety of distillates from the Pernod Ricard family. Attendees had the opportunity to share different sensory experiences, praising the Habano as a banner of Premium tobacco in the world.
These activities were carried out by the brand ambassadors of I.E.P.T and Pernod Ricard, taking as a flag the Cuban rum, distinguished guest to taste the Habano.
The making of the Habano was led by Liu Torreiro, roller of the H. Upmann factory (Havana, Cuba) in which he shared his vast experience in the rolling process, highlighting the maximum quality and the Protected Appellation of Origin of the Habano.
The Son Cubano could not miss bringing joy and festivity and it was performed by the Cuban orchestra “Primera Clase”. The dance steps were generated, as well as the feeling of celebration and fraternity among the attendees. The Cuban mixology and its gastronomy made their arrival, hand in hand with exquisite cocktails such as mojitos, daiquiris, making the perfect accompaniment for the Habanos tasted by those present.
IEPT thanks all attendees for their presence and preference in this eighth edition, creating a memorable experience. A night where the protagonist of the gala was commemorated in its maximum splendor: The Habano.
