The 24th Edition of the Tax Free World Association to be held next October announced that nearly 500 companies representing thousands of brands will be present at the show.
The event, to be held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres, Cannes, on Monday 18th, is a landmark in the calendar of the duty free and travel retail industry and attracts more than 5000 visitors during the week including buyers from airports, airlines, ferry and cruise operators as well as other duty free operators all over the world.
On October 18th, -in an already well-gained space for the Habano and especially for the products exclusively made for the channel- the Hoyo de Monterrey Cocktail for the launching of the Hoyo de Monterrey Travel Humidor will take place.
Designed for those who want to keep their Habanos at the best conditions while travelling, the Hoyo de Monterrey Travel Humidor, makes the perfect choice. Light weighed with a stunning presentation of a white lacquered box with humidifier containing 15 Habanos, of a size called Doubles (Girth 50 x 155 mm long) manufactured under Hoyo de Monterrey, a brand that is characterized by its mild and delicate aroma. All the tobacco leaves used in the making of this brand comes from the well-known region of Vuelta Abajo, Cuba.
The world premiere of this product, which will be available through 2011 in the main airports worldwide, will be held in the lavish Baolí restaurant.
Habanos, S.A. will present a selection of its flagship products at Travel Retail along with a sample of its 2010 Limited Edition vitolas as follows: Grand Edmundo from Montecristo, Serie D Especial from Partagás, y Short Robustos T from Trinidad which are not listed on the regular portfolio of these brands.
Habanos business at the channel is certainly on the rise. The two-digit growth at the end of year 2009 is expected to continue. Total sales at the Duty Free and Travel Retail chain represents around 22% of the Habanos total business.
