HABANOS, S.A. at INTERTABAC, Dortmund 2018
[tippy title="Habanos S.A., Corporación"]The Havana-based company, jointly owned by the Cuban industry and the British Imperial Tobacco Group, which markets all 27 Habanos brands worldwide.[/tippy] will attend once again at the International Trade Fair for [tippy title="Tabaco"]Spanish for tobacco, but in Cuba it also means a cigar.[/tippy] products INTER-TABAC, to be held in the city of Dortmund, Germany from the 21st to the 23rd of September, 2018.
Inter-tabac is Europe’s leading specialist trade fair for tobacco goods and smokers’ accessories. A unique range of products and services will be offered by more than 400 exhibitors from 60 countries to all present.
Habanos, S.A. and its exclusive Distributor in Germany, Fifth Avenue Products Trading GMBH, as well as Habanos Exclusive Distributors for the rest of the world, are present at the stand in Hall 4 Stand 4A24, a place where all the 2018 novelties were displayed as well as other products with great acceptance in both German and worldwide markets.
Visitors can appreciate among the novelties for this year the Cohiba Reserva Cosecha 2014, ( 50 ring gauge x 124mm length) with its [tippy title="Vitola"]A word with many meanings. In Cuba it refers to the size and shape of a cigar (vitola de galera factory name, vitola de salida market name) and also to a particular size of cigar in an individual packing. In Spain it means a cigar band or ring (vitolfilia cigar band collecting). To some it has an almost spiritual meaning encapsulating every aspect of their cigar of choice.[/tippy] Robustos, one of the most popular sizes within the Habanos portfolio, Partagás Maduro presenting two new vitolas Partagás Maduro No. 2 (55 ring gauge x 120mm length) and Partagás No 3 (55 ring gauge x 125 mm). Le Hoyo Río Seco (56 ring gauge x 140mm length) a new heavy ring gauge vitola that is incorporated into the Le Hoyo series.
The Habanos Aficionados also can appreciate the new products produced in exclusive for [tippy title="La Casa del Habano"]La Casa del Habano is the name of a network of retail cigar stores franchised by Habanos s.a. There are over 140 La Casa del Habano stores throughout the world on five continents. A full list can be found on the franchise's global website at www.lacasadelhabano.com[/tippy]and Habanos Specialists, like Prado (50 x 127mm), in San Cristobal de la Habana brand and Hoyo de Monterrey Escogidos (49 x 180 mm) as well as the new 2018 [tippy title="Edición Limitada"]Limited Edition. Special productions of Habanos made annually using fillers, binders and wrappers aged at least 2 years before the cigars are made. The wrappers come from the top leaves of the shade-grown (tapado) tobacco plant, which are darker in colour. Boxes can be identified by an extra black and gold seal indicating that they contain Limited Edition Habanos and the year in which they were released. Each Habano is dressed with an extra band giving the same information.[/tippy]were presented at the Habanos stand.
