Grand opening of the 1st Habanos Lounge of the world in Italy
Habanos Lounge and Habanos Terrace are two new concepts which [tippy title="Habanos S.A., Corporación"]The Havana-based company, jointly owned by the Cuban industry and the British Imperial Tobacco Group, which markets all 27 Habanos brands worldwide.[/tippy]launched and presented this year to the Exclusive Distributors around the world.
We pretend with these new concepts to identify and promote high level locations being indoor (Habanos Lounge) or outdoor (Habanos Terrace) where cigar enthusiasts will have the opportunity of enjoying a [tippy title="Habanos"]The official Denominación de Origen Protegida (D.O.P.), or Protected Denomination of Origin used only to describe the most outstanding brands of cigars, which are manufactured in Cuba to the most exacting standards established by the Regulatory Council, from tobaccos grown only in particular areas of the island that are also protected as Denominations of Origin. In English the word translates as Havanas, which are widely considered to be the best cigars in the world.[/tippy] and choosing the right pairing among a selection of distillates and other high level drinks. All this under a highly qualified service.
The first Habanos Lounge in the world was born in Italy, more precisely in Naples. We are talking about the historic Sisimbro tobacconist (Habanos Specialist since 2001), placed in Via Pasquale a Chiaia 14, Naples in a comfortable atmosphere, where Anita Sisimbro welcomes clients and Neapolitan connoisseurs with high levels of service and know-how.
The grand opening event took place the afternoon of Thursday May 25th, with the presence of Gonzalo Villalba Sánchez, Diadema S. p. A. Vice-president and of a selected group of guests, who could enjoy for the first time the welcoming Habanos Lounge.
To celebrate this opening, in the Cloister of Santa Chiara; one of the most exclusive locations in Napoles, it has been also done the presentation for the Italian market of the novelty Punch 48, an exclusive product for La Casa del Habano and Habanos Specialists.
Around one hundred people were invited to the event who could enjoy the primicia of this very expected Habano, presented by Diadema S. p. A, Exclusive Distributor of Habanos, S.A. in Italy. It was a very intense day, which will remain on the history of the Habano in Italy, with the pride of having contributed to the born of the first Habanos Lounge in the world and the tasting of one of the jewells of the prestigious brand Punch.
