Opening of new Habanos Point in the Canary Islands. Island of Fuerteventura
Cuba Cigar, S.L.U., Exclusive Distributor of Habanos in the Canary Islands, has recognized “Tabaquería Placeres” with the category of Habanos Point for its specialization and distinction in the management of [tippy title="Habanos"]The official Denominación de Origen Protegida (D.O.P.), or Protected Denomination of Origin used only to describe the most outstanding brands of cigars, which are manufactured in Cuba to the most exacting standards established by the Regulatory Council, from tobaccos grown only in particular areas of the island that are also protected as Denominations of Origin. In English the word translates as Havanas, which are widely considered to be the best cigars in the world.[/tippy].
Cuba Cigar, S.L.U., represented by Ania García Ramos as General Director, and José Miguel Martínez, as Manager of Tabaquería Placeres, have signed an agreement, which defines the terms and conditions to distinguish Tabaquería Placeres with the category of Habanos Point in the island of Fuerteventura.
The category obtained by this specialized retailer will contribute to expand the culture of the Habano in the Canary market and, at the same time, strengthen the indisputable prestige of the Cuban cigar brands.
This is the second Habano’s Point in the Canary Islands. An extensive specialization program will continue in the region.
